Default bike running but has dead spot in throttel

I got the bike running with a new set of plugs, but now if i do not keep it at 4K RMPs it will not run, it ideals, and if i just bump the gas it dies. What could be the problem?

mmmmmm.......thats about the range your a/f screws operate in id check them make sure their adjusted right. if that dont work time to clean ur carbs,make sure u check ur pilot jet too. check ur needles and main jet make sure someone didnt do a botched jetkit install.

Those are the classic symptoms of gummed up carbs. Did you drain the tank and add some fresh fuel? [8D]
