Belt Drive Conversion?
Has anyone seen a belt drive conversion of a CBR 600?
Right now I'm doing an electric conversion on a CBR 600F2 and I'm at the step where I finally connect the electric motor to the wheel. I haven't yet bought an aftermarket sprocket to get the right gearing so I'm taking this as my last opportunity to look into belt drives before I commit to chain. This will just be my get around town and commute to work vehicle so I don't think I'd be putting a belt under conditions it couldn't handle.
So had anyone seen someone else go with a belt on one of these?

I was under the impression that electric motors could produce very high torque loads. The belt is not used on higher power level bikes because of snapping I have always been told. A local here who races his electric bike said he would never think of going to a belt. Obviously yours is a commuter bike, but that doesn't mean you wont put some nasty stress on that belt drive system
