I bought my 94 f2 off of my buddy last year. It had a two brothers slip-on and must have been re jetted when he had it. This winter i dropped a tooth in the front and wow what a difference. I dont know if anything else has been done to this bike or not my buddy didnt know too much about the history of it when he bought it. All i know is that i havent lost to a newer 600 it just feels soo good to beat them after they say somthing smart about your older bike. has anyone else dropped a tooth in the front sprocket? It makes a huge difference in the upper rpms.

That guy can't ride then. My 98 zx6r dyno's an honest 97hp at the wheel(which is 5hp more than my F3).A new 600rr hands me my ***. We aren't talking stop light to stop light....this is at the track, 3rd gear corner.....I even passed that guymid corner with 10mph on him....he came by me like a freight train. A 636 is even worse.
That same98 zx6r passes a lot of liter bikes too....many riders simply don't twist the gas all the way....and on the new bikes youcan't....they would flip over...HA.

Owning an F2 and a 636there is a big difference. My F2 is about 83rwhp, my 636 stock dynoed at 110rwhp (30rwhp!). With that saidgearing is the best mod for an F2and then add a goodrider who can get 100% out of a bike and You will see alot of bigger bikes fall.Just don't race at a 120mph roll.[8D]
