BATTERY
I personally go to Farm and Fleet, they'll give you a core charge discount for your old battery. Usually this is only a couple bucks, but they take your old battery off your hands for you. I'm thinking Napa, or any other auto parts store will probably do the same. Batteries are batteries, if you bring in your current battery, they can cross reference the model number and give you one that will work. So just be sure to take in your old one. Also, if you don't want to buy a functional charger you could probably ask about them setting a battery up for you. Then you wouldn't have to bother with filling it and charging it, just pick it up the next day or after a few hours or whatever.
I got my charger from Autozone IIRC for $20 or $30. Charges at 2 amps, but has the tender function for leaving it connected all the time.
The battery is something 9x. NAPA, WalMart, and all the other parts places want like $50 by me. I found a battery supplier who sells them for like $35 including tax.

I dealt with a company called Harris Battery. They have multiple locations, but don't know if they are nationwide. You may need an account with them though to get a fantastic price. Not sure though. (they carry cycle batteries, car batteries, truck batteries, and other industrial batteries)
your local wal mart usually has decent prices on batteries, depending on what you get. i usually go to walmart or the local battery shop 'battery wharehouse'. but no matter what the cost of a new one, do not use your old battery at all. you'll regret it in the end.
i would check with where u got ur batt from cause i know where i got mine they have lifetime warranty with it. so i would check to see if theres a warranty on it of some sort but in this case im not sure if they will offer the warranty
