Wow, lots of feedback!
I was planning on keeping the fork legs black, I think it's best to keep the larger bits ofred at the back of the bike and just have small red accents up front.
The front will have red accents with the red brake lines, I've got black pazzo levers with red adjusters, bar ends may be red, and I may do the calipers in red.
I want to have my frame P/C in red as it's visible in a few locations through the fairings.
But I definately want to do the one wheel in red, because it's different. I've seen it before and it works really well.
All that red near the rear wheel will be broken up with chrome looking bits (ceramic coated) such as the exhaust, sprocket, rearsets, etc. All of the banjo fittings/bolts are chrome.
The only part I'm worried about is the front around the headlight. In my opinion a solid color on the F2 looks stupid, this bike needs different colors to brake up the big flat body panels, which is why they came from the factory covered in big goddy stickers.
So, I dont know what to do about the area around the headlight because it's just going to look big and flat.

Basically what you described...

I like it!
edit: red stripe (width of front fender)up thenose to break up the black and carry it over the tank and off the top of the tail - and maybe a red dash panel. Black front wheel. Red screens.
You will be the envy of everyone you pass.

Nice Mike, LOL.
I'm not sure how I feel about the red line up the bottom of the tail, the concept I was going for is from the later CBR600's (the silver segment):

I think the front fender's going to stay black as well, that breaks it up too much.
I think the nose will be fine all black though, I'm adding an "Angel Eye" halo light inside the headlight unit, and will be blacking out the inside, that should break it up enough.
That will look something like this:

The seat's going to stay black, but I think a black solo cowl with some type of red accent on it will look good. MAYBE a red stripe down the center of the solo cowl following down the back of the tail and stopping at the tail light.
More to think about!
Cheers, thanks guys.

I say do what makes you say WOW! everytime you look at it. My bike was black and we had the triple digit summer last season. I was really miserably hot (riding and sitting still). I went with a pearl white and simple decals. I have pics posted in this forum if you care to see what I did. I kept it simple and clean and evertime I look at it now I really like what I see.
Just my two cents. Black is hot and collects dust fast, but looks really nice clean. Good lck on the upgrade. Need pics ASAP when its complete.[8D]
