RE: Another gusher...
If you open the gas cap, does it seem likethe tank ispressurized? One time when I putmy tank back on, I pinched the (smaller) breather tube off the bottom of the tank by accident. When I started the bike it did the same thing; built up pressure in the tank and pushed fuel out of the (larger) drain tube.

I dont think its a tank or petcock problem because I could see exactly where the fuel was leaking from. I have two tubes that exit airbox/carb area ,cross over each other and end around the fuel line area. Fuel was pouring from the tubes a few seconds after starting ( first start early morning).
After that I came inside and asked around here for some help and after about ten minutes went outside and tried again.... no leak this time! I'm not a mechanic so what I'm about to say could not make much sense but is it possible I flooded the engine and that was excess fuel draining?

Your floats might just be stuck. Had this happen to me a couple times. If you don't want to tear them apart and clean them just yet, try tapping on the float bowls with something that won't damage them (screwdriver handle, broomstick, etc.). They're a pain to get at, but you can do it by only taking a couple of fairing pieces off.
