Default Accidently Hit Rev Limiter....

I Down shifted two gears today to mess around and gassed it, two seconds later I redlined it for not even a second for the first time ever. I was mad at myself. I have 94 F2 with 13k on it and was curious as to just how bad this is engine wise??? I dont plan to do it again. I Hardly ever pass 6k. Are these made for that, and just how much cusion does my Rev limiter give since some models over manufacture there bikes. Im crazy about babying my bike. As why im posting for help.

These bikes are made for high RPM use. F2 motors are superbly machined and are more or less bullet proof. This doesn't mean to go ride around like and a$$hat hitting the rev limiter all day, then you will look like a tool.

People bounce these off the rev limiter all day long at the track. You're fine.

Must be real boring riding around never going over 6K Try chaining gear at 14k instead just remember to hold on lol

hardly ever pass 6k? Sheesh - trade that thing in on a hoveround pap-paw.

Srsly though - the F2 doesn't even begin to be fun til you're passing 8k.

You couldn't pay me stay below 6K. It would be like laying in bed with a beautiful and willing girl and not...well....I think you know where I am going with that.

Live a little my friend. She is happy to live at 7 - 11K all day long in the twistys, and you will be too! I promise
