?
how many miles does the motor have on it? if its under...like id say 28? itd prolly be worth it, if the frame is bent I would start with the frame...and build the whole bike from the ground up...and make everything as clean as possible. Also I would look around the site for stuff to clean out motors etc. Like some seafoam..and a guy on here has a really good thread on cleaning out radiators...but yea if the frame is not bent id go for it regardless.
sounds like a good buy to me. i paid 1100 for mine which had some badly rashed fairings but only 13000 with a great motor. if i had some more cash id love to buy a resto bike and build one from the ground up. if the engine is good go for it!
My F2 cost me less than $1000 so far, and it runs (well)... of course, I have no bodywork and no gauges or lighting. ...and I need to spend about 500 more before it'll be trackday ready.
Of course, I have about three bikes worth of spare parts in my shed (including a straight frame, slightly damaged carbs, and a supposedly running but damaged engine).
