94 Ff2 dash light
My light behind my speedometer is out so when riding at night i have to memorize 2nd gear 5k rpm is 30 mph.....ect. How hard is it to replace the light in the dash and how would i go about doing so. any help would be appreciated
Not too hard at all. I did mine when the fairings were off, but you should be able to just unbolt the 3 fasteners on the cluster and pull it up, unscrew the speedo cable, turn the cluster over and replace the bulb.
just changed mine, disconnect the speedo from the bottom, you cant pull the clocks out all the way with the fairing in place, but you can pull it forward enough to get your hand in to change the bulbs,,,easy stuff
I installed LED dash bulbs when I had my fairings off so that hopefully they'd last the rest of the life of the bike. That cluster is a bish to remove with the fairings on.
What's really fun is the speedo cable vibrating loose.

weird - I just realized I'm posting in 2 different threads about the same thing?
The bulbs are 168 (or (158 or 194) style push in.
If you wanna go LED you can get them here:
