Default 94 f2

hey everyone im new here and im new to riding street bikes. well i was looking at this 94 cbr600 f2 with 20,000 miles. the guy only wants 1000 for it and the bike looks mint. the problem is it wont start. the guy told me after storing it last winter he tried to start it this spring and it would fire just cranked a few times then the battery died. my questions are is the bike worth the cost since the bike is so cosmettically good and what may be wrong with it?? thanks again

1,000 is not a lot of money if it really is in that great condition and the only thing wrong is something simple to fix.

But the bike could have other issues, how does the charging system work? What about the cam chain tensioner, etc?

Have a buddy who knows bikes look at the bike, what's hard is you don't know what else might be wrong since the bike won't run. Then again it could be a great deal too

Carbs might be messed up because the bike wasn't run in a while...same thing with my bike.

It won't run either.

Is it stored inside?

Take a good battry with you and fire it up.Then come back here and tell us what's happening (noises the motor makes and such).Or can you take it to a reputable shop and get it looked at.DO NOT tell them the price you can get it for, they may "shank" you.
