There are 2 hoses that come out of the bottom of the gas tank...one is a breather and runs down underneath the foot peg...the other is about a 1/4 diameter hose where should it run to?

California model? It goes to the black canister underneath the bike. There should be two hoses and one open end for fresh air intake.

According to the manual, there is a fuel tube, a fuel vacuum tube, a fuel tank drain tube, and a tank vent tube. I only remember a couple on mine, but one just hung down and led to nowhere. I tried to figure out if it attached anywhere, but didn't see anything and the bike ran fine so I figured it was just supposed to hang there.

 

I just had my tank off today. I had 4 hoses total that were connected to the tank. I had the auto fuel valve vacuum tube, fuel tube, and a tank drain and tank vent tube that both weren't connected to anything.

 

I had my tank off recently and the 2 that you are talking about just hung there so i just guessed that, thats were they went, to nowhere.
