RE: 1991 600f2 has been sitting for months
3 months really isnt that long for a bike to sit. maybe flat spots no the tires if theyre old and low on air, but thats about it....Im not going into what i actually do for a living(too complicated to explain on a forum) but i will say that gasoline (summer blend) will sit from april to december in an enclosed container without going bad. my only advice is to add a waterbonding agent if the tank is not COMPLETELY FULL.....available at any automotive store....it will bond with the water and burn in the cylinders.
when you have to store a bike, fill the tank until it overflows. you will never get rust in a full tank.
condensation is what causes rust and "gumming"
THINK BEER CAN EFFECT......

It's a '97 and I am getting the short end of the deal but it's okay because I've been looking for a f2 in original paint scheme for a long time.
I finally found one, only it was on another island! I hear many great things about the viffers too notny, but this vfr never fit me well
Too long and way too heavy and bulky to throw around. I grew to hate riding it. And I can't stand the gear whine from the gear driven cams. [:@][:'(]
