Default Ignition lock, How exclusive is it?

Hi all, bit of an odd one...

Due to a broken key inside my ignition lock, I've been looking at replacements.

Looking at Fowlers parts site it is exclusive to this bike

https://www.fowlersparts.co.uk/parts/view/35100-MGV-D01

eBay has cheap replacements but not for this bike.

I'm wondering how much difference there is between the CB Hornet lock and the CBR?
https://ebay.us/m/yYJ5MS

Many thanks
Mike

Surely this would be a HISS lock and you’d have to replace the ECU, lock set and keys as a unit?

It is HISS but it looks like the lock cylinder slides in to the HISS reader.

I was hoping to just reprogram the keys or put the existing transponders into them.

Got bits on order to try dismantling my existing lock to see if I can fix it.
