My rear shock needs replacing on my F2 and i have been told the F4I will fit but it has a shorter hose for the resi therfore i need to mount that some where else, but will a shock from an RR fit? As the resi bottle is connected to the shocker therefore no need to mount anywhere!

 

It's almost an inch longer, so it'll make the bike taller plus the chain will rub on the swingarm close to the pivot bolt (I know you'll have the same issue with the f4i shock)

I'm not sure it'll fit because of the reservoir being connected.

And I'm not sure the spring rates are close because the orientations of the shocks in their respective bikes are different.


Unless you can find someone who has done the swap before and knows it works, the only way to know is to buy one off of ebay and try it....
