Default What is this?

Hey folks.

Struggling with my carb rebuild.

I have cleaned all the jets etc but I reckon I may need to buy a rebuild kit for each carb.

Looking online the part I have highlighted doesn't seem to be part of the rebuild kit.

What is it and where would I get a replacement?

Thanks

Wow, now that's a first. That is not considered a removable part, it's pressed in.

Thank you for the quick reply.

All of mine are blocked and have been removed. I can press them back in no bother.

One is damaged however. I reckon I can repair it with solder and use a pcb drill to re-drill the hole.

Hopefully it will work.

Well cool, keep us posted on how it goes. Was it blocked at the end you could see, or internal in the body of the carb?

Something along these lines might help in the future.

I managed to repair the damaged part with a little solder and a 0.4mm PCB drill bit on a pillar drill.

Unfortunately the bike is still not running after cleaning all the carbs and jets. Bike will idle with choke open and that's it.

The carbs were pretty badly varnished.

Ordered a set of rebuild kits and will just replace all the jets with new ones. Should hopefully ensure the bike will run. At least it will take away the question of are the jets cleaned properly.
