Default steering stem, yokes question

Hi all, just looking at the steering stem and bottom yoke and they appear to be one unit, usually the stem will unscrew from a bottom yoke! wanting to install zxr yokes, anyone on here done this? if so get in touch, cheers guys!

again sorry about pic quality, was taken late at night on my phone.

is the zxr bottom clamp alum or steel? if it is steel, you can grind the weld off the oem cbr stem/clamp unit and press the stem off the clamp, then weld to zxr clamp. if alum, then press the stem into the clamp and then pin it.

Default electrical

Tail section looks great!!! Way past my fabrication skills!!!

What are you planning to eliminate electrically if anything???
Just bought an 88 project and because of damage to the fairing was planning a streetfighter look.
I am removing the front fairing and need to relocate a lot of electrics.
I am just starting and have manuals on the way but if you (or anyone) has had success removing unnecessary components or installing simpler aftermarket replacements (turn signals, relays etc...) info would be greatly appreciated.

just a few bits of welding so far, no cuts. wiring is all standard at the mo, gotta get it all up and running before I start with final touches. zxr forks should of been here today! (bloody post) going for digital clocks, looking into zx636r clock, wheel combo. off work till tuesday, so will be doing tons over the weekend. Threres not a lot you can strip off the bike electrical wise, a new loom just arrived so i'll be playing with the old one. havn't evan chose front lights etc yet! everything is just sat for pics at the mo, still paint to finish. I'll probably get the front end on and the tail finished this weekend, I'll post pics.
