Default Timing chain tensioner

I recently brought a 1990 CBR 600F from a motorcycle mechanic who said he replaced the timing chain and installed a manual tensioner instead of the automatic one. When I rev the engine there is chain noise so I know the chain needs to be adjusted butI cant see where to adjust it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Default RE: Timing chain tensioner

Nevermind that I got ahold of the guy that sold me the bike and he replaced the manual tensioner with a used automatic one. How difficult is it to remove the tensioner?

It takes maybe 5 minutes if you're just doing the tensioner. Look at the sticky "How To - CCT". Cam - Chain - Tensioner.
