Default Tank Rattle Fix?

So, I have been going insane with my fuel tank rattling on the frame along the edge. I have the front and rear rubber grommets installed but nothing to cushion the vibration along the edge of the tank on the frame. I don't know if they make a piece for that. I was thinking of using wheel well moulding for cars, or some sort of insulation. Any pointers?

you should check the front and rear mounting points to see if either end is loose or the bolts are not tightening down the tank. i have never had my tank rattle. and when it does it is because i did not tighten the bolts.

The bike comes with little rubber pieces where the tank meets the frame on the left and right side.

true, there should be rubber there.

You could always get high density weather stripping . . .
