Default Swingarm Removal

After searching and browsing here and looking at exploded diagrams I still cannot remove swingarm. Bike is 1989 600 Hurricane.
I removed entire link, caliper, swingarm bolt... I see referenced to a locking nut that needs a special spanner to remove but I don't see that nut anywhere on inside or outside of frame.. Swingarm is still solidly in place. The diagram I see for a 2001 and has the right pivot adjusting bolt lock nut, but I don't see that on my bike.
Pg 71 here shows 1987 - 1996 and looks to be what I have:
http://www.home-business-host.com/im...1987-1996).pdf

What am I missing?

Thanks!

Yes. The swingarm still pivots in it's position w/ out s.a. bolt installed. I'll go take a few pictures...

The last 5 images in this album. One thought I had is that the bike has been wrecked and if it's possible the swingarm is pinched in the frame...? I don't think so though as it pivots fine without any apparent attachment as pictured.

Thanks for your help.

Did you download the actual FSM, not the haynes manual yet? I have it linked in the sticky, in my last post in this forum.

On your photos, loosen the lower motor mount bolts so you can flex the frame a bit and remove the swingarm.

The "special tool" turned out to be a dead blow plastic hammer. After removing rear-set peg brackets and chain I got a good look and saw absolutely nothing holding it together, 6 - 8 blows with hammer and it was on the floor.

Thank you. I registered at mega.nz and download all 7 files of the manual. just browsing them now and they will help me tremendously.
That was my next move if it didn't budge with a deadblow hammer. A few wacks and it's on the floor.
