Default Stuttering issues

Hey everyone I own a 87 hurricane, and I am having issues with it. The problem is the the bike as a stutter when cruising at any speed or gear. When at WOT there's no issue nor at idle. At the bike's carb's where sync (professional)and that when the problem came about. Only mods is a KN filter. Thanks for any advice.

No, I'm only missing the lower side fairings? Will that really make a different?

Its very possible, but there are holes in the frame right next to the forks that flow into the airbox, and too much airflow will definitely cause a stutter. and although you do have the front fairing there might be some up flow from where the side fairings are supposed to be. mine was completely naked and was running super lean. try covering the holes with some tape or something and take her for a spin, might cure it.

or talk to the people who sync'd your carbs. you said it started happening after they sync'd them. sounds almost like a carb sync problem.
