I have a 1989 cane and the suspension says Ohlins all over it....is this the stock setup that came with this bike or is it after market? Just curious because I was looking at the CBR manual and the stock setup def. doesn't have this many settings thats for sure. Any comments appreciated!

if that is what you have then you have a $700 piece of suspension hardware, new. not even sure you can get one for this bike anymore.

if you can get the front (springs, emulators, or complete front end swap) and rear dialed in correctly then you will have one excellent handling bike.

 

My bike has some sort of after market calipers and rear spring on it.

the rear spring is red. as far as i know stock wasn't red. what u guys think?

stock spring is red on '89.

 

Stock rear spring is red on 87 and 88 as well.... I Think the only thing custom on your bike is the sticker.

 

Guess i was wrong i have a feeling the calipers are stock too the OEM replacement catalog i was looking at must not be Honda parts. cut they look different then what on my bike. oh well.

still works perfect and rides perfect lol
