So...after all the work i put in restoring my wrecked 'Cane....my cousin backs into it and knocks it into a support pole of the carport...putting a big dent in the gas tank.... =(. fortunatly this is all that was hurt...does anyone have a gas tank they're willing to sell? I'm looking for the Red and white one. If so just let me know and what you want for it....i'm hoping to get off cheaper than what the shop wants to fix and paint it...

i think you are going to have a hard time finding a painted one to match your bike, i got one in good condition off ebay for like $32, then had it acid dipped and epoxy coated for rust, it is now awaiting paint.

 

Oh man, I'm sorry. I hope your cousin pays for the new tank! Just keep your eyes on ebay.

they second one would be great if it didnt have that "little ding" in the corner. looks like a cannon ball hit it.

 

how much does the shop want? my dad dropped mine and put a nice ding in the tank. Right at the point where the red meets the black. Can't wait til he pays for that one.
