look at these two pics. one is the tail cowl, and the other is the solo seat cowl. notice how the solo seat cowl has the tabs, and the cowl does not. I would do like michigan said and either build them up with epoxy, or use Plastex.

i hope these pictures show you what you might be missing. i don't know what tabs, if any, the aftermarket plastics have or not but these pics should give you an idea of location.

man, i need to look at mine today. my side panels dont have those slots on them, ive never noticed them before.
