Quick bolt question

Quick bolt question
I had a bolt in the kickstand that fell out while I was riding last week. I haven't been able to find the measurements on those bolts anywhere (not suprising I suppose). If at all possible, I was hoping someone could perhaps find or make a measurement on those bolts so I can get a replacement before this coming weekend. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
And, yes, I am new to the forum. I purchased an '88 last month from a friend of mine.

RE: Quick bolt question
Well, it's certainly reassuring to know that I'm not the only one that that has happened too. Did you decide to locktite the new bolt, or perhaps put on a washer or something? I'm just worried that there might be a possiblity of it happening again, and that would be rather unfortunate to have happen more than once.

RE: Quick bolt question
I actually just bought a few packs of bolts and used the one that fit best. the threads were smaller but it did screw in correctly. it stayed in there very well. part of maintenance on a bike is tightening bolts so I doubt its a flaw in workmanship, just loosened over time and finally fell out. I had just ridden back from a day at the lake and went to my friends house and as I tried to put it on the stand it wouldnt support it, I was in a severe state of WTF, then I noticed the stand only had 1 bolt....kind of funny now that I think about it, but I had to lean the bike on his fence while I went to wally world. broke my mirror doing it too.
