Im new to the forum, I have an 88 600f.all ferrings taken off except front, two 5 mph drops on it.idles up and down, when i shake it it turns off, lost alot of power in one night when it rained sounds alot different.when i try to accelerate it hesitates.i have no clue it was perfect when i bought it.it has 18k miles on it.when i pull in the clutch it dies unless i give it gas.

Slow down son. Lets try describing one problem at a time. If you have access to a digital camera post up some pics.
How old is the battery?
Have you tried cleaning the carbs?
How does the air filter look?
What damage did you do in the 5mph tip overs?
When you move the choke lever is there anything happening down at the carbs?
Have you tried adjusting the idle?

that suggests you really need to clean your carbs, and the choke lever is an issue I have with mine too.

you've gotta take the left control cluster off and replace it. there is no other "fix" that I know of for it.

clean your carbs, it'll fix that. I just went through this with another person who had a ZX7R that was doing EXACTLY the same thing when he rocked it side to side. after he cleaned the carbs with my online aid walking him through step by step, his bike ran perfect.
