Possible Fuel Delivery Problems?
Hello all. Went to take the 90 cane out of winter storage and alas she wouldn't start.
Fuel pump relay died, so replaced that, while I was at it figured an oil change a new filter, and new spark plugs couldn't hurt. I also drained the bowls out and ran some compressed air through the carb, but did not do a full strip down. (Only so much time on my hands
)
The bike can now start, and idle for about a minute with choke. After about a minute, she slowly dies down, or giving some throttle will kill it even faster. (When she first starts up you can give it all the throttle you want.) What confuses me is that if you bypass the pump and go gravity feed, she runs fine. This is confusing because the fuel pump seems to work fine, and everything seems to be getting gas.
Any suggestions on what the problem could be?

Did the test in the manual and it passed. I'm starting to think though that the pump is only working when it wants to, explaining the sporadic behavior. New pump should be here next week, then we'll see if that's all was wrong =)
