parts and a question.
Alright first off,
i've been updating my plastics lately on my '89 600
and have 2 left over side fairings from the previous owner,
no cracks, but some scratches. it's painted, very poorly, a
red color. I'm not really wanting to make any cash on these
so if you live in AZ and need em lemme know, or if you want
em just lemme know, i'll let em go for cheap don't really care.
i also have an extra inner cable for the speedometer.
that said, i've been troubleshooting
a speedometer problem, and after a little bit i've determined that
unfortunately it's NOT the cable.. it's never the easy things that break.
Anyways, on the front wheel, there's a speedometer gear, that the cable
plugs into.
i've taken it apart and been trying to find what the extruding "pin", that's inside
the speedometer gear, is supposed to look like.
it's a crappy image i know, but A is where the cable plugs into the wheel.
B is the pin that is inside the speedometer gear. and C is what the speedo cable looks like.
i'm trying to find out how big B is supposed to be.. on mine it's maybe || big.
the speedometer "shakes" whenever i gun it, but other than that it's at 0.
if anyone has any ideas lemme know.

i'll post pics of them tonight,
might be a little while because after work i'm gonna have to
take my bike apart to find out where this oil leak is coming from.
woke up this morning to come into work and found a puddle undeneath my bike.
nothing to big, but still making me worry and wonder whats going on.
like i said i'll post some pics tonight, and let you guys know.
as for the price, i'll look them up tonight and find out what they go for,
cut the price in half and just have whoever wants em pay the half and shipping.
like i said, i don't wanna make any money on em, just get em off my patio.
roomates are gonna kill me if they stay there much longer.
