New Paint Job
Hey everyone out there in the interweb, when I bought my bike it was in ok shape, missing the center tail peice, and it was dropped and a little scuffed. Here is what it looked like a year ago when I first picked it up.
Then I found that tail peice on Ebay, reinforced it so it wouldn't fly off on me, touched up those two big scuffed areas on it,had it looking pretty nice, and I thought it wasn't too bad for the $1700 I paid for it. Then last October I was riding around and I lost control on roughly a thousand pounds of pee gravel that was unmarked and wasn't on that particular turn lane earlier in the day. The result was the right fairing being cracked in half and I walked away without a scratch. So once again it was Ebay to the rescue and I replaced the fairing. I then brought the bike to a friend of mine who works at a collision shop and restored a 69' Roadrunner, and $800 later this is the result.
The color is Arura Blue Mica from Mazda and I got the Decals off of Ebay from Yamahadecal.com. The guy even repaired the minor damage that the aged plastic had. Let me know what you think.
