Well My buddy has a 88 600f that he is letting go for 500 bucks. Before he put it in storage it ran perfect with no hesitation. While in storage he decided to do some work to it clean it out and everything. Well when putting it back together apparantly he put the fuel pump wires back on backwords. today when i was inspecting the bike we rewired the fuel pump and turned it over nothing from the pump i rewired it and it was pumping. its got 44000 miles on it and needs cleaned up. im picking this bike up because it will be a great project to learn on riding wise and modding/fixing wise. i was going to put a new chain on because this one is a little beat doing a stage 1 carb kit and a k&n filter. since it has no side farings i was planning on doing a streetfighter setup since its half way there. once i get it to my house ill take more pics. I feel like a little kid in a candy store. tonight we plan on firing it up and going from there.

nice! did you guys get it started then? make sure the fuel tank didnt rust. and did he clean the carbs? might have got gunked while sitting as well. if not, i'd suggest it while you are re-jetting them.

The carbs were cleaned we got it running 2 nights ago but it was very rough. found out cylinder 1&4 spark plugs were extremely loose! could wiggle it with your finger we tightened those down started it up again and still ran rough. we couldnt figure it out. deciding that the plugs were bad we went to go change them and as i was pulling up on cylinder 3 wire it snapped pulling the boot seal up with it (exactly were i was grabbing) on further inspection the spart plug wires were totally ****ed up. cylinder 2&4 were on the driver side oil and cylinder 1&3 were on passanger side coil. so i have another wire coming with some other miscellenous pieces and it should be ready to go tomorrow(if the parts come in!)

bikes paid for and take ownership of it tonight i have the title and everything! i did not ride it last night but both my good friends rode it and i followed them and it rode smooth even with them jumping on it perfect! the bike wont be on the road for a bit cuz of painting and some misc things needed done. Its being painted a metallic red with goldish flakes. should look good when its done. im going to start working on it tonight remounting mirrors, stripping/sanding plastics and the tank gettin ready for paint by the weekend. ill have pics up when done. it will look good for a streetfigher bike when all said and done. If anyone has any stock parts laying around for cheap let me know i could use a muffler and a wind screen. call me at 724-256-1294 or just leave a msg here

Pics up shortly
