Default New Here.

Hey everyone,

I just bought a 1990 cbr 600 for $900. Where are the best places to buy parts for it? ie-plastics, mirror. And do they make a rear seat cowl?

Thanks in advance!

Ken

eBay is your best bet for plastics, unless you're independently wealthy. Or, look in your area for "used motorcycle parts-salvage". Motorcycle junkyards make their living on plastic for old bikes.
Same for the Mirror, too. You can also go online or to your local dealer and buy a new set of aftermarket mirrors that might look just fine for $20-30.

Some company out there makes the little rear cowl piece and/or a "solo-look" piece, I can't remember right now. Someone will know.

for OEM parts, the cheapest is almost always www.servicehonda.com; but you need to go to another website like www.mrcycles.com or any website that has the real Honda part numbers, so you can enter them into the service honda parts-finder.

'90 is a great year for this bike. Congrats.

I designed new mounts to fit F4 mirrors on my 89 they look nice and if it ever ends up on its side they colaps instead of break off
