New bike, new problems
Starting at the beginning; I just purchased an '87 Hurricane and I know it will need some work. That being said, would you give me your thoughts.
Bike was tough to start when I first bought it, then after riding last weekend it died/I killed it and would not start. I drained the new battery I put in trying to get it going again. Then I push started it ran then when I stoped (about 20-30 yards) it died. I repeated this twice more before I just stayed on the throttle and ripped home.
So, I researched and decided to clean and sync the carbs. Now that is out of the way and idles good, runs good, except for one issue. If I am at idle and quickly blurp the throttle, it will almost die/ probably would if I didnt release it. If I slowly roll onto the throttle, revs up beautifully.
So any ideas, it could be spark plugs as I have not replaced these, or maybe even coils.
I synced it with a motion pro and all were extremely close if not dead on.
Thanks in advance.
