RE: New 1987 Hurricane owner
No, I told her it would be about 2000 dollars worth of damage and she checked with her insurance company and they told her what her new rate would be for the next few years so she just gave me cash. Because I'm an honest guy, I put together a list of the damaged parts and gave her the link to crotchrocket.com It came out to $1200 and change. I actually ordered more than I needed because I didn't realize the fairings came with the stickers on it so now I have an extra stripe sticker and honda logo. I think I will apply the stripe on the old fairing because it can be restored rather easily. I still have the messed up plastics on the bike and people still think it looks great. I was really bummed when she hit me but now everything is fine.
One thing-- my muffler is scraped up and slightly dented but it kind of already was when I bought it. I didn't bother to order a new one because I thought it was overkill and I have a bleeding heart. To tell you guys the truth, the woman was very attractive and I somehow felt guilty asking for everything.
