RE: My streetfighter
With a full fairing do you think I should use this mod? My bike likes it over 5 on the tach I'm looking for a better top end speed.
I was reading another of your posts Ras and my top in speed is over 141mph with about 9 grand on tach, only did it for a few seconds I got scared.

You know I never thought that the intake holes in the frame would bogg your bike down if exposed. I kept wondering why my bike did that.

It's the removal of the Hurricanes stock intake airbox snorkels is where the high speed power loss come in to play.
Check out this thread on my high speed problems and corrections.

Bottom line is don't remove any of the Hurricanes stock air box components when building a SF Hurricane or modifications to a stock cane.
Beleive me I have tried my different airbox configurations and this bike runs it's best with the stock airbox using a clean air filter or a K+N and the airbox lid and snorkes in place.
Good luck on your project!

Nice work, looks good!
I lowsided my F1 last weekend (hit a gravel patch) and the front fairing is mashed up pretty good, and I don't think I'll be able to find a replacement locally so I started thinking about just turning the bike into a streetfigher. If you don't mind my asking, where did you get the headlight/fairing and signals from?
