you could look for a set of lowering links for the rear suspension and then lower the front forks the corresponding amount. other than that not much else without getting really creative. these model years don't have really height adjustment built into them unlike newer models. so if you are short, you may have to just tip-toe it or do the one sided flat foot.

A higher end fiberglass helmet will be alittle smaller than a cheaper helmet. I had a shoei that seemed smaller than my scorpions but I hated them.

I have a exo400 and a exo700. I really love the 700. Very very nice helmet and I got it new on ebay for 140$ shipped cause its a discountinued color.

i am only 5'5" and i dont have any problems on my F1. get some boots, and you will be ok. you could also always shave the seat down some.

Hi,

I'm 5' 6", and my bike fits well. I wear Sidi boots. One suggestion is to set your rear shock preload to 1 or 2-if it's set stiffer, the seat height will be taller. Also, I'd suggest you drop your front end about 25 mm anyway, to get quicker handling. That might help a bit with the height issue. The newer CBR's are even taller.

Good suggestions. Luckily the bike doesnt feel awkward-but a little lower would also be nice.
thanks for the advice guys,

Kind of off topic, but I have a quick question:

How does seat height affect handling? Anyone know?

its not the seat height that effects the handling, its the suspension settings that effect the seat height and handling.

I know that suspension height is important, but higher seat means higher center of gravity. Does that make it harder or easier to turn, or anything like that?
