Default mirrors

For those of you with an f1 600 im sure quite a few of you were like me not to happy with the stock mirrors. I wanted to swap some mirrors off a newer bike but i got looking at my stock ones, and realized if you cut the plastic cover off of your mirror brackets you can have them polished or if you have a dremel go get the polishing kit for the dremel and you can do it yourself. I did mine that way and i am very pleased how they turned out everyone thinks they are off of a newer bike.

I got some black mirrors for mine, they are for a newer cbr, but they thread in, and i just put the bolt back in the lower hole and it looks like it's supposed to be there, doesn't look bad. It takes a while to adjust them to get the mirror to stick out enough so you don't see your shoulders the whole time, but I have mine set up so I can see between my torso and bicep area when riding.

Here's the link to the e-bay store, it says cbrf1, but they are obviously made for the newer models as the stock f1 mirrors have that huge base, and anything you look at in the mirrors is shaky because that lack of mounting support, but it does make the bike look a little "newer". Make sure to also order the "cbr cap" that covers one of the holes too, the normal cap that comes with the mirrors have 2 holes and you need the one with one hole.
