Can you guys post a pic of your main kick stand in the up position?(not the side kick stand) I'm trying to put mine on but I don't see what it is supposed to rest against when in the up position. Or you could just tell me in words.

 

There is a bracket on the bottom of the stock exhaust. There is a rubber bumper mounted in the bracket as the stop. I'll try to grab a pic in the am.

What happened was the guy I bought the bike from had 2 aftermarket exhaust pipes, so the one he had on when he sold it to me wasn't the stock one and doesn't have the rubber stopper. But he did give me the other pipes too so I should be fine.

Wow I didn't know hurricanes had center kick stands I have an 89 and It only has the side version.

 

Me too...I know the provision was made on the frame, but have never been able to locate one.
