Default Leak on lower left side......

I was warming up my 600f and I noticed some sort of fluid slowly dripping around the lower left side of the motor right around the starter clutch case, it doesnt smell like gas, its dark like oil but yet its thin like fuel, does anyone know what it could possibly be?

we need pictures, or a better description. there are only three types of fluid in the bike, gas, oil, or coolant. gas petcock is on the left side, there are coolant lines along the left side, maybe leaking oil from the cam chain tensioner, next to the starter.
just like any leak, you need to clean it, and observe where its coming from.

Its fuel alright. I fired it up, and it did its usual leak routine, so I took it for a spin. It ran fine, came to a stop sign, looked down and there was fuel coming out up near the carbs! I raced home and shut it off, then it stopped, I let the bike cool down and fired it up, and it ..... Well to make a long story short, when I hit the throttle, the gas pours out. Let me warn you I dont know much about bikes, but I was wondering could it be the floats?

if you have a manual, and enough common sense to rear it, and follow it's directions. then yes go for it. carbs are ease to pull out, take apart and put together as long as your patient, pay attention, and read the manual

Update: the fuel is coming out of the bypass line? I think thats what its called, it feels like hard plastic hose right behind carb 4? the carb on the left side of the bike. Any suggestions?

Update from the last update: Okay I got off my scary, lazy butt, and started taking some things apart, that hose that I mentioned in the last update? Its a rubber hose between carbs 3 and 4. Is that the overflow hose? If not it is now. Lol. So does this mean that once again, as discribed by Tripicana it's the float?
