Is it factory black or does it look like it's been repainted already? Decals can be found at Bikebandit.com, Servicehonda.com or others.

painting white over black is gona be a pain itl take alot more coats to cover than most coulors. if your genaraly handy it shouldent be that hard for you but your gona need an HVLP spray gun a compresor and a gass mask. take the bike to a local paint supply store so they can give you the best paint to work with.
read up on auto painting a bunch befor you start though
hope this helps you

it is the stock black and i would strip, bondo and prime it, i was just wondering if anyone has done it yet and how involved it is to strip the bike, and the mirrors are black and if you can get your hands on white ones i will defiantly trade

it isnt the hardest thing ever, but the hardest part I thought was the fact that I never found a good way to strip the old layers off mine. sanding it sucked with all the curves, and most chemical strippers (all the ones I found) soften and can eat the plastic. if you find a good way to chemically strip it let me know!

also i ordered my paint today, doing a satin white finish with a black bear paw on the right and left fairings (my nickname is the bear), not much satin white anything out there will be hard to keep clean but i love the look ill post pictures and process when i finish, also i have yet to ride it (no class space till may), hope it all goes well.

I replaced tabs on mine by cutting squares of sheet metal and using jb-weld to atttach them to the backside of the plastics. drill a hole in it for the mounting bolt and away I went. I will try and get pics later on to give you a better idea. worked all last summer and everything held up, even at 135

what tabs are broken on your fairings? if its the push in ball type tab, i think i found a good solution.
chasing an electrical gremlin on my 86 VW jetta, i pulled the horn cover off from the steering wheel. i noticed the cover attaches with a similar push type tab. it even has a nice base to glue to the plastics. so just go to the junkyard, look for 80's-early 90's VW's, and remove the tabs on the steering wheel horn button.

that does look like a good idea. I had used jb weld to fix a bolt to one of my rear fairings. I slide the bolt through where the push tab would ga and can reach behind to thread the nut on it. works great, been there a little overa year and still does its job
