Inverted shifting or GP style shifting
 

Has anyone done this on the Cane? I am going to take a look at the bike tomorrow and see if I can do this as it is a simple enough process.

i dont know why you would need to do this? but when i was putting my cane back together, i accidently put the shifter on backwards. i dont think you have to do any modifications, just flip it over.

yeah, it is just a simple flip around. The whole reason for doing so is for track purposes in my own opinion. It works perfectly for going out of turns to push down to upshift and reversed as you slow down.
