Hey guys i have a 1987 hurricane 600 that i have put alot of work into, and now have decided to rip it apart and do it again, but this time i want to put a swing arm on the back that will hold a 180 rear tire, i was thinking 1987-1990 hurricane 1000 swing arm. any suggestions? and i am going to do a complete motor rebuild, thinking of boreing it over to a 750, not sure yet though, any tips or suggestions would help out alot. Thanks.

hmmm, not sure if cane 1000 swing will fit? will have to check. with a bit of frame grinding, a f3 swing will fit.

750 is a bit much. 700 is the safe limit. you don't want the walls so thin that they warp.

 

so an F3 swing arm will fit, with some grinding? thats awesome. and yeah maybe i will just go to a 700, but either way im hoping to come up with something mean. here is what my bike looks like now its custom to say the least.

i appreciate it man. i have put alot of work into it, its got a gsx-r head light, and a gsx-r race tail and a fox twin clicker race shock but im bored with it im getting ready to rip it apart and start again. ill have before and after pics up. you guys will be amazed when its done. im excited, i have a dream..........that one day people will respect the hurricane again. haha. but it will be cool.
