Hurricane full exhaust system - Motad
Been doing some digging for a slip-on cuz my pipe is a little dinged up but I was never happy with the choices. D&D is as loud as your girlfriend when theres no money and I never really liked the construction and quality of the V&H stuff. So I found this company out of England, Motad, who has an American distributor. Their full system is apparently pretty quiet (by the looks of that pipe) and packs a punch. Hard to find reviews it, but I found one on a VFR board and the customer was pleased.

It is available for $500 +tax through their distro. This is pretty fair for a full system so I want to know if anyone has had any experience with this pipe or Motad in general.

i had a motad on mine they are very good and will last a life time . you cant here the sound they make as they make none. as they are a 4-2-1 exhaurst they give you 3bhp over standard . then if you change the can for a yoshi you get more bhp and lots more noise . but you have to make a link pipe as most motads end cans are 2-1 . i do reconmend them

Hey mate, i actually have the same can on my cane. Lovely note comes from em too!!! Only problem though, i actually had to cut and weld my downpipes. The pipes i got with my can were way too long as when they were fitted they left a gap of about 3-4 inches between the pipes and the sump, hope you dont have the same problem lol

Believe it or not, I would suggest leaving it at the stage 1 settings. My bike had a full exhaust and air filter last season. I had my needles set at the stage 2 specs but when I switched to the stage 1 settings, I improved my 1/4 mile times by 1 second. Run your bike once y ou have everything installed and see if there's any hesitation in the powerband.
