Default HID lights in a hurricane, anyone tried it? (installed with demo of HID lighting)

I've got an opportunity to pick up a complete HID setup for my bike, and I'm wondering before I go and spend money only to find out its not worth it, has anyone tried it?

I know about the reflector housing and the glare issues and such, I've done my homework on that stuff, so now I'm just looking at the HID setup and thinking how can I make it work with minimal issues?

Good luck with it. Sounds interesting. I had been thinking of these: XENON HEADLIGHT BULB HID SET. I've used them on my car and they don't need any extra kit. Very bright white light, with a tint of blue too. Also a cheap option.

Just to update everyone on this. I just got my HID kit today, installed it with NO issues, and its a night and day difference compared to stock. WOW a 4500K HID kit is just BEAUTIFUL.

Its even focused nicely with no major distortion like I'd expected with the fluted glass headlight lense. its actually focused nicer than the conventional halogen bulb.

Anyone wanting to do an HID conversion to your old CBR, DO IT.
