well this morning I pulled off the fairings and removed the carbs. Gonna get those cleaned.
I noticed a black liquid coming from what i would assume to be a water pump? Maybe an oil pump?
Its has a hose coming from the radiator, and one going to the back of the motor. Need to get new tires. Any suggestions for cheap replacement tires.

Wow 500 bucks?? Good steal, hopefully doesn't cost too much too much to rebuild.

Yeah, I figured out it was the water pump. Came in the mail yesterday from bikebandit.com. Its too cold to install it right now(south Florida). Also the metal coolant pipe on the back of the motor( one on each side. That may also be leaking, but i don't think they are available anymore. I ordered some of these tires.

yea odds are your coolant pipes on the back of the head are leaking, theres little o rings on the ends of them and the head gets corroded in there. just take the 2 bolts out, pull the coolant pipes (alot of coolant is going to **** out) and use some high temp silicone around the o rings (the copper stuff) and jam em back in there, just make sure the silicone is only on the outiside of the pipe because you wouldn't want a chunk of that flowing through the engine. then when you press it into the head, all of the excess will be squeezed outward.

You could attempt to clean the corrosion up and install new o rings.....but usually when theres corrosion involved in such a small space its a lost cause.
