Got another Hurricane!

Got another Hurricane!
Hey all, been away for a bit because I took a vacation. I came back and found a deal on an 88 Hurricane with a complete parts bike (2 for the price of one). The one bike is 99% complete. First one I found with all the fairings still intact and they are in pretty decent shape. This one will get restored to original :-)
Here's a not so good picture:

I pick the bikes up tomorrow. Paid $400 US for both of them.
Now I have four CBR's and a Honda Aero and Kawasaki Vulcan...pretty crazy for being away from motorcycles for almost 30 years. Having fun though and hope to get 3 good bikes out of the 4. Two will be originals and the one RR.

I've been finding lots of deals on these. This one is quite good with the fairings intact. The fairings are in really good shape. They look like new and are not repaints from what I can tell. The pic doesn't show the upper cowl pieces but they are there. The bike itself is quite clean as well.
I feel really lucky because on the RR conversion I took that route because I couldn't find original fairings without paying an arm and a leg for them. Will be nice to put together a real Hurricane :-)

Picked up the new Hurricanes yesterday. Will post some pics soon, but was late when I finally got them home. This looks like a pretty good deal. The one bike is essentially complete but hasn't run in a while. The second bike is completely torn down and really is only parts although the engine was running last year so that motor is a good one.
I have clean titles and keys for both bikes which is a big plus. Titling these bikes costs $200 if there is no title.
The plastics on the complete bike are pretty much there, but the inner cowl pieces are missing and the right side lower is cracked in half (couldn't see that on the pics). The two tanks are in excellent shape with original paint and decals. Upper fairing is in almost perfect shape with original paint...it looks almost new.
I have enough to put the one bike (or one of the other ones) back to original Hurricane.
In the end I think there will be 3 complete running bikes. The third bike will likely be another conversion although I have another set of rear fairings that could be the start of another Hurricane. Not sure yet what I will do on that one.

Finally got some time to mess with Hurricane Number 3. I started repairing bodywork and hung it all on the bike to see what I have since the guy took it all apart before I bought it.
This one is definately a restoration candidate. I think I did pretty good considering I got 2 Hurricanes for $400 so I paid $200 for this one. The upper cowl is worth more than that.
Here are some pictures after I put the plastics back on:

Hey,
Any chance you have a spare fuel line off that parts bike. I need the line that goes from the filter into the pump. you know the one that wraps around. If you could help me out thatd be awesome cuz mine ripped and thats the only thing keeping it from running... Let me know please.... Thanks

I have to be honest here, my plan at this point is not to part these bikes out. There are 3 CBR's going together, and one total basket case bike that is in boxes (number 4). I really don't know what I have here and what each bike will need to get running. I plan on trying to fire up Bike 2 and 3 this weekend.
I'll let you all know once I have a better idea.
