diechrome that looks very nice!

rrasco I put a slip-on D&D on my F4 and it wasnt as loud as people say they are, But I did keep my V&H instead and put the D&D on ebay. I liked the sound of the D&D, but I go to work at 4am, so I went with the quieter exhaust.

ORIGINAL: Junior

so the only way to fix that is cover it half way with tape?
There are a couple of things you can do. First option is making a "reverse" scoop. Basically making a half-circle out of some piping to limit the amount of air getting into the intake. Second option is to take of the tank and cut the stock intake tubes away from the frame. This is the easiest, cheapest, and cleanest way to fix the problem. The final option is to make some custom fiberglass covers but this isn't the smartest idea. Water can still get into the intake and it's hard to get the exact right amount covered up. Too much and it'll bog down at low speeds, and not enough covered will cause it to bog down at high speeds.
