I have a 89 600 that needs a new fuel pump. Will a fuel pump from a newer 600 work? I am having trouble finding one from an F1.

 

With the f3's Ive been told that the f4, yzf 600 and a few other mid 90's 600s will use the same pump BUT you could just buy this one for much less and not have to worry about the contacts getting worn out (the main problem with the f3 pumps) $50

Well yea, but hes not looking to repair his fuel pump because he doesn't have one. Also shipping is another 12 dollars to ship so I dunno that this is much cheaper. The pump also has a warranty Im sure.
