What is this template you speak of ?? you mean the jet kit comes with instructions on drilling and as well what air filter to use ?
how do you like the fp 3.0 kit ? was it easy to tune .... your bike feel faster ?

the dynojet kits come with a template, the fp one does not. Air filter, use a K&N. If you do a search on here I know someone uploaded the Dynojet Template a while ago. Im happy with the FP kit so far, my tune isnt complete, it takes about 4 good runs to see which setting is best for each step. 4 for main jet, then you install the needle jet and do four more runs adjusting each time, then adjust float height, and then adjust the mixture screw. If done properly your bike should have a perfect tune for your area, however on cold mornings it will run differently, same as on extremely hot days.

it really helps out the pull on the top end, when tuned right you can really feel it once you hit about 4000rpm. As opposed to the dynojet, there wasnt a real noticable difference. But its definetly worth the 150 and time to install for sure. And the good thing about the FP 3.0, youre not drilling out your slide lift holes, so you can always go back to stock without having to buy a set of used carbs for the slides.
