FP comes with tuning instructions where DJ does not. The DJ kit is just a generic setup where as the FP kit is more markeket for tuning to your geographical area. For example a guy in florida will not have the same setup as I would as the air temperature, elevation and everything are much different. FP give you insturctions on how to tune for this. But I havent had a chance to tune my carbs, so right now its only on 4th clip on the needles and 118 main. But after test riding i need a much richer setup. Since im posted to ontario and my bike is in new brunswick, I havent done any test and tune.
What are the jet sizes for the FP kit? Are they Keihin jets?? Do they have sizes listed for the 1.0 kit too? I have been searching near and far for these answers.

yes they are genuine Keihin, I believe the jet sizes are 118, 120, and 122. Not sure on the 1.0 Kits, but if you email them they will give you more info.

Default Dyno jet kit

I have installed a stage 2 dyno jet kit.

So far I drilled the slides with 2 holes with the 30 drill bit and installed the DJ125 mains.

I have run it so far with the stock filter in place with no lid and today will be fitting some mini k&n individual filters.

I found that with the standard filter on and no cover it was running too rich in the low revs..

I think this might have something to do with the slides.. and the filter so fitting the individuals might help. Will also try today different needle heights and fitting in some spare slides..

Any ideas peeps?

Running straight through pipe and s/s headers

my lid is drilled and it seems to run fine. and I have a drop in kn filter. might be worth a shot. more air SHOULD ne making it lean though, even at low rpm.
