Default F3 transformation....

So this is gonna be my orogress thread. Picked , up some f3 fairings, headlight, tail light, seat, gas tank. And if I really need it I can go back and get the rear subframe. Got it all for 2oo so I couldnt pass it up. I put on the fairings tonight for mock up, still have my old tank on there but I think its starting to look better already. Heres one pic I snapped real quick.

Looks good man. I've always loved the way F3's looked. How do the smaller tires look with the F3 look?

On the front tire theres no difference. The back will be taken care of shortley, putting a F3 swingarm on as well. Plan on running a 160.

can you just swap the swing arms out or is there some custom fab involved?

Ok guys I have a problem. Bike ran fine before I installed, the fairings. Now if I accelerate hard right at about 7k the bike cuts out. I dont have the ductwork to the intake do you think it could be starving for air? If the bike is sitting and I rev it it does not, stityer at all.

try blocking off the air inlets by about half, with some tape.
the stock fairings partialy cover the air intakes.
people running without fairings do this with good results.
