It's not much to look at but it runs and it fun to ride. Not bad for paying $800 and putting another $300 to get it running.

how your rims are stripped on the outer lip is what I am starting to do, you can see in one pic I am about half done with one side of the front wheel lol! so I have a WAYS to go!

I forgot to mention that the 2nd pic is heavily photochopped.

It appears that some point someone had the lip polished. I like the polished lip as it adds a nice touch to a scratched up bike. Next thing is to start saving up for some decent plastics. Pretty much everything is held on by zip ties.

mine was the same way as far as zip ties, I can show you how to fix it if you post some pics of what parts are broken so they need zip ties.

Pretty much every hole that mounts onto a tab on the bike. The Previous owner drilled new holes so that zip ties could be run. I'm thinking of plastics in good condition so I can go flat black and the red wheel and red decals.

you can redo the tabs pretty decently and easily, unless like the corners are busted off. pm me if you want to see what mine looks like after repairs

Cool My 87 Hurricane 600F

Here is my sweet Hurricane. I love this bike. I doubt I would ever sell it.
Probably drive it till it dies or I do...lol
I bought mine for $500. All I had to do is wash it, new battery, tires and right side maintance lid. I also did an oil change and had the chain adjusted.
The bike drives really nice. I did swap windscreens with a friend of mine.
Would like to replace the rear seat cowl at some point and put some stripes on it but for now its good.

Best bike I have ever had.
